  • Clean

    Be sure to clean your gear before sending it to us. We have found the cleaner the gear, the more likely it will sell. We recommend clearing the bottom of cleats/shoes, wiping down your items, and taking a stain treatment solution to those hardcore grass stains. (We LOVE Fels Naphtha Laundry Soap. *We do not receive any compensation for recommending this soap. Our mom used it, and so now we do too!)

  • Print

    Print your free shipping label. Please make sure your package does not weigh more than 5 lbs. Please contact us at admin@turning2sports for shipping instructions for items heavier than 5 lbs.

  • Pack

    Please take care when packaging your items. We recommend taking the necessary precautions (using cushioning materials to keep items from moving around, using thicker packaging for harder/heavier items, etc.) when preparing your items for shipment.

  • Approval

    Once we receive your items, we will appraise its value based upon its estimated age/live left in the gear, condition, cleanliness, market trends, brand, demand, season, and type of gear. Please see our Consignment 101 for additional details.

Things to keep in mind when selling with Turning2Sports

  • ⚽

    Anything sent in for consignment should be practice or game ready. Make sure your items are in usable, good, better and great condition. We do not accept athletic clothing with tears/rips/holes bigger than 1”. We realize that sometimes pants with a small tear may not be worn for a big game, but they are perfect for those weekly practices.

  • ⚾

    Turning2Sports only accepts items that meet our acceptance standards. We may reject an item for any reason. Each item will be evaluated to determine, in our sole discretion, shall be posted. Please see our Consignment Terms of Service.

  • 🏀

    You are helping to keep the earth in working condition for our youth. Clothes & gear can take up to 40 years to decompose in landfills.¹ In addition to producing greenhouse gasses in landfills, the production of new sports gear, clothing, and equipment is a significant contributor to climate change.

The following list provides examples of what we do and do not accept. This list is not all inclusive. If you have any questions, we recommend reaching out to our customer service at admin@turning2sports.com. 

    • Freshly laundered, clean, and dry items.

    • Not overly stained. We understand that when kids play their hearts out, grass & dirt stains are inevitable. We recommend treating the stain prior to sending in your item. If you have any questions about your items, we recommend contacting admin@turning2sports.com.

    • All parts included. Pairs together. A complete set.

    • Tags and labels still attached & readable.

    • Any item that is illegal to sell under any applicable law, statue, ordinance, or regulation

    • Items that have been visibly altered.

    • Counterfeit items. (You are responsible for the authenticity of any items sent into Turning2Sports for consignment.)

    • No hazardous materials.

    • Cracked, severely dented, broken or visibly unusable.

  • Sometimes we miss the return window or we’ve purchased an item as a final sale. It has happened to us many times. Turning2Sports is the perfect place to recoup some of the cost.

  • When gear or clothing has been used only a few times before your athlete out grows it or loses interest, all before the season ends.

  • Items have seen many practices and games but are still game ready. Functionally sound.

  • Items that have seen many practices and games as well as multiple players, but they are still game-ready.

  • Mostly reserved for clothing items that may have a few too many wears but will still help your athlete master their moves at practice.
