Prepping your gear

The best way to help your athletic gear, equipment, clothes, etc. make another kid’s team, make sure it’s in the best shape possible.  We recommend the following to increase the chances of getting your gear purchased:

  • Make sure it’s clean.  Sometimes this may require a little extra elbow grease, extra washes, in addition to whatever stain-fighting cleanser you prefer.  We LOVE Fels Naphtha Laundry Soap.  We have no relationship to this brand other than our mom used it, swears by it, and recommended it to us when we had our first kid.

  • Make sure it’s usable and wearable. Sports gear needs to be pitch ready. If it’s not game ready, please make sure it’s still usable for those team practices or private coaching sessions.

  • If it’s broken, visibly cracked, or something you would not want your own kid to wear, please don’t send it in.

  • Please see our Consignment 101 for additional details.
