New school year… new sportswear?

With every new school year comes the need to rummage through rooms, rooting out things that are no longer fit and making lists of desired replacements.  My kids don’t mind.  They get to see how much they’ve grown, and they get excited about a new school year with a new spiffy first day outfit.

Inevitably the cleanout leads to the discovery of baseball pants that are too short, soccer shorts that are too tight, holes in sport socks, and more.  Purchasing new school clothes now includes new sports gear. And trying to balance providing the basics with my kids’ desire to have the new, cool thing can be difficult. It boils down to budgeting.  Did we budget enough to be able to cover new sizes in clothes and sportswear and equipment?

This is one of the reasons I started Turning2Sports - to provide parents with an option for more affordable athletic basics, like these Champro: Triple Crown 2.0, Open Bottom Baseball Pants or this Adidas Destiny Softball Helmet. Turning2Sports also offers great deals on trendy, popular items from the likes of Bat Flip and Nike.  Although inventory is ever-changing, we provide a resource for budget friendly options.

What to do with those gently used sports items that no longer fit? Easily consign with Turning2Sports. Well, first throw your stuff in the laundry or give it a good wipe down, and then send your goods to Turning2Sports.  We will take care of the rest.  Once your items sell, you can cash out or use your earnings towards items on the site.  Visit our Consigning 101 page for all the details.

Look forward to the new school year and new sports season with Turning2Sports on your team!
